This vintage necklace is made of gold beads, gold detail and gold hardware. The necklace is a chain of small gold designs that are closely linked together. The designs are three marquise-shaped gold shapes that are joined together in a V-shape. They are intricately detailed in gold. At the center of the necklace is a large gold medallion. The medallion is an abstract diamond-shaped medallion made of small marquise shapes. The medallion is all one piece. The center of the medallion is slightly raised over the edges. The four ends are made of closed marquise shapes and the four corners are made of open marquise shapes. The closed marquise shapes have the same gold detail that the linked designs have. This necklace is signed “MONET” followed by the copyright symbol at the center of the back side of the medallion. It is also signed “MONET” on a tag that is attached to the extension chain. This necklace is yellow gold-based.
This marquise medallion necklace is .25″ wide and 25″ long, including the clasp hook and extension chain, which are 1.8″ long. The medallion is 2.75″ wide and hangs down 2.7″ from the necklace.
